Overview Of The School:
Surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy remain the main treatment methods of patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (PRGS). Major achievements over the past time have been achieved in the development of new technologies, such as radiation therapy, intensity modulated (IMRT) or proton therapy. Also, there have been significant advances in the surgical treatment of cancer of the head and neck and in reconstructive techniques, allowing our patients to improve the quality of life. Because treatment has become more effective, survival rates and long-term quality of life gained importance, making it necessary to implement rehabilitation techniques in the healing process.
The aim of the school is to give an overview of modern approaches to choice of treatment, the latest developments in the field of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as to give insight into new directions treatment PRGS and the advantage of working in an interdisciplinary team.

Target audience:
The school is designed for professionals with experience in the management of patients with cancer of the head and neck: surgery, chimiotherapie, radiotherapists.

At the end of the school plan final examination with a certificate.
